Part 74

An hour or so later, luxuriating in the bath she’d promised Josh, Grace rested against his chest and said “so how do you feel about everything now?”

Rubbing his hands along her arms, enjoying the feel of her silky wet skin, Josh contemplated her question, “okay I guess, but it’s going to take some time to get used to it. I still haven’t got my head around all that happened.”

Her attention elsewhere, Grace said in an absent tone, “fair enough” as she ran her hands down Josh’s thighs that lay along either side of her body.

Immediately Josh’s hands stopped moving and leaning forward he said in her ear “I’d stop that if I were you, unless you’re prepared to deal with the consequences.”

Laughing Grace moved her hands back further and teased “consequences eh? But what if I like the consequences?”

Closing his eyes for a minute Josh bent his head and kissed her neck, working his way up to her ear.

Loving the feel of his mouth on her body Grace closed her eyes and turning her head she found his mouth and gave him a hot, demanding kiss.

As they kissed, Josh moved his hands from her arms letting them roam over her chest across her abdomen before fitting them around her waist, and then breaking the kiss he lifted her on to his lap.

Later as the water started to cool Grace turned her head and looking at Josh she asked “so was it worth the wait?”

Grinning Josh wrapped his arms around her and kissing her shoulder, he said “oh yes Gracie, most definitely worth the wait.”

Satisfied she’d fulfilled her promise, Grace smiled, content.
